Our chapter currently has 54 patriots among our members. Our patriots come from Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The only one of the original colonies that our member patriots don’t represent is Rhode Island.

Although one of our member patriots comes from Vermont, Vermont is not considered one of the Original Thirteen Colonies. Vermont was disputed territory, claimed by both New York & New Hampshire. New Hampshire ceded claims in 1782, prior to the Constitutional Convention. However New York, at the time of the Constitutional Convention, still claimed sovereignty over the territory of Vermont, and did not cede those claims until 1791, paving the way for Vermont to become the 14th State, and the first admitted to the Union under the auspices of the Constitution.
